Welcome to Istanbul

Wonderful city Istanbul continues to change the agenda of the world sports with they did successful organisations. If needed be to list some of them, Formula 1, Istanbul Tennis Cup Tournament, European Champions League Final, Moto GP and Istanbul Eurasia marathon.

We have one more dream after those organisations... Which is Olympic Games. Undoubtedly, it's not easy to make it come true but it's not impossible too. We are aware that it's difficult to be candidate for Olympics Games without hosting athletics events. Therefore, we, as Istanbul Municipality on the one hand restore and renovate old sports halls and on the other hand hosting to international sports organisation or support them. We are proud of Istanbul has been chosen by IAAF as 2012 World Indoor Championship Venue.

We will take very important steps in the near future for to build new sports facilities, spread out sport to the public and organize international sports events. I believe that, we will approach to goal of Olympics as we succeeded in our projects
